The design intention was to incorporate the arts and crafts revolution within Darlington, the proposed shelter will accommodate space for functional facilities such as potting. as William Morris said, "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." The space inside encourages creativity through the flexibility within the designed space, allowing its users to utilise the communal area in a way that they envision themselves.
